In villages like Bakarpur and Raipur, we organize health camps to provide essential medical
services, where residents receive free check-ups and necessary medications. Additionally,
Through these efforts, we are working towards a healthier future for these rural
communities. The details has been mentioned below:-
- From in collaboration with Vision Spring, Hartek Foundation
organized eye-checkup camps in government schools across the Mohali block. Prescription
glasses were distributed to all government schools in Mohali district, benefiting a
total of 5,000 children.
- A blood donation drive organized by The Hartek Foundation in collaboration with (YGPT) to Commemorate ‘World Blood Donor Day’ at Hatek Head Office Mohali. Life Saving Contribution a total of 75 individuals donated blood during the drive. All collected units were donated to Parvati Blood Bank in Amritsar.
- part of our commitment to community health and well-being, Hartek Foundation organized a Mammography and Bone Density Camp in Village Daun. This initiative aimed to promote early detection of breast cancer and assess bone health among women, addressing two critical health concerns that often go undiagnosed in rural areas. Benefiting total more than 100 individuals.
Health Infrastructure Strengthening
In the year to strengthen local healthcare facilities, Hartek Foundatio have constructed a new room at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Bakarpur, aimed at improving infrastructure and supporting better care for the community.
This development directly impacts the lives of the villagers by increasing their access to essential healthcare services, reducing waiting times, and fostering a more comfortable environment for patients. By addressing the infrastructural gaps in the PHC, Hartek Foundation is contributing to the well-being of the community, ensuring that quality healthcare is available to everyone, especially the underserved and vulnerable sections of society.
Health Awareness
Through targeted campaigns, workshops, and health camps, Hartek Foundation is committed to spreading knowledge that enables individuals to make informed decisions about their health. To address this need, we have organized vital health camps in rural areas, focusing particularly on underprivileged communities.
- Hartek Foundation, in collaboration with the Drug De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC), Sector 66, Mohali, Punjab, commemorated World Mental Health Day under the theme “Prioritizing Mental Health in the Workplace.” The event aimed to promote healthier work environments, with a particular focus on supporting individuals in recovery from addiction and mental health challenges.
- Hartek Foundation organized a Women Health Checkup and Awareness Camp in the village of Raipur, aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of women in the community. The camp was designed to address critical health issues faced by women, particularly those in rural areas, where access to healthcare services is often limited.
