Workshops
- Hartek Foundation is dedicatedly working to empower communities by raising awareness about crucial issues such as child protection. As part of this commitment, we conducted an important awareness session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Government Senior Secondary School in Bakarpur, Mohali. The session reached 370 girls from classes 9 to 12, equipping them with the knowledge to recognize and prevent child sexual abuse. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), Hartek Foundation remains committed to promoting education, empowerment, and safety for every girl.
- Celebrating Children’s Day with the students of School of Eminence, Bakarpur: We facilitated a leadership training program held by Mr Jassi Kahlon (Retd Col.), who has a vast experience in effective communication, leadership and management. He engaged the students with team activities and delivered an impactful session through experiential learning.
- During Independence day of, Hartek Foundation organised an Inter-school painting competition at Government Sr. Secondary School, Bakarpur, Mohali, themed "Independence from Drug Addiction." Over 100 students passionately expressed their visions of a drug-free future, reinforcing the idea that true freedom lies in breaking free from societal constraints. We’re proud to inspire the next generation to lead the way towards a healthier and safer society.
Infrastructure
Hartek Foundation is always ready to contribute to our mission of “Power to Serve” by creating a meaningful impact on society. Through these infrastructure development initiatives, we aim to enhance the learning experience for students by improving their physical surroundings. We believe that quality education goes beyond textbooks—it’s about providing safe, well-equipped, and sustainable environments that foster learning, growth, and development. By focusing on these key infrastructure areas, we are helping to create spaces where students can excel academically, be inspired, and look forward to brighter futures.
- Water Tank Installation: Hartek Foundation proudly installed a 1000L water tank at the Government Senior Secondary School in Bakarpur, Mohali, Punjab, improving access to clean water for students and staff.
- Solar Streetlights Installation: Installed solar-powered streetlights at Government Senior Secondary School, Bakarpur, in March 2023, ensuring sustainable and reliable lighting for the school and its surroundings.
- Walls Repair and Paintwork: Completed indoor and outdoor walls repair and paintwork at the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) enhancing the learning environment for children.
